My God! At night you can get those, but as you originally said Jason, this was a woman driving to pick up her kids at 1530. Really she should get a very long ban, but you and I know she will probably get a 20 month ban at best! As I said before this should be a case for a life ban!
Traffic Officers like you have to pick up the pieces, literary, after collisions involving these people, but the legal system doesn't seem to take into account when sentencing what these drivers represent in terms of danger to themselves and everyone else. This included the women's children in this case, who quite realistically could have been torn apart in any collision that was well on the cards to transpire if you hadn't pulled them.
A life time ban and 6 month prison sentence should have been the order of the day with a reading like she produced on the Toximeter!
These cases make me fume
