Ideal Speed Prob
« on: 26 September 2014, 09:39:50 »

Hi,
I have omega B 2.0l model 1996 (manual Transmission)...
I have a problem of unstable RPM when I stop my car, each time when I stop and put the gear stick on Neutral it reach 2000 RPM and stay for (10-20)sec and then start to move to the normal level gradually.
Because of the above, I tried to do the Paper Clip Test ( which I did it many times before about a year a go) bu this test not works and the EML Not Flashes.

Now, the RPM is 2200 rpm when I start the engin and not move down to the normal level, just if I unplug the ICV....
Is the problem with the ICV? :(

I need your help please about the both problems above, the unstable RPM and why the Paper Clip Test not works.

Thanks.
