Ok not sure whats happened here, but key will not open Drivers Door, no movement, nothing.  Was working fine untill today, was last in there on Friday no issues.

Cars parked up, so Ive diss'ed the battery + terminal, where its parked up close against a corner, cant really get underneath to whack some volts on the Starter motor etc, I suppose worst case I could drag / tow the car away a bit but starts to get messy.

Key wont work on the Tailgate, never has, tried the usual wd40 etc, no joy.

Any easy way of getting in an Estate (I can do saloons easy enough) without wrecking a window as I cant remember if I dead locked it with the key , obviously if it involves trickery please PM me rather than post up.

Sounds like someone has tried to force it they freewheel if the wrong keys are used...

Yes it does, cheers  , that was also one of Al's (of many) ideas, just  having a cupa, and a quick google which pins I need. Unless anyone knows the Tow Bar pin outs of the top of there head.

Ok bearing in mind I have no Batt connected so cant check, guessing Im looking at (On the Secondary one). Pin 3 Neg, and Pin 2 or 6 Poss, whats the relay for is it battery isolation? see below.

7)   Earth for pin 6 (1998 on)
**NB It is essential that pin 6 is wired through a split relay from 1998 on!!

They won't you know if a split charger relay is fitted,pin 4 should be the Constant live,the other two only go live when alternator charge is sensed

Ok, Thanks All (and Al's Phone Call). Will have another go tomorrow as its Cats and Dogs at the moment.

Plan of attack -
- 12 Volts -/+ on 3 and 4, if not then 3 and 2/6
- Try Al's other suggestions.
- Worst case do the Grill and use my Bonnet Pop Up Tool, which I totally forgot about, go's to show always worth sharing a problem when its your own
