The Mk1 Focus was small, the latest Mk's are massive in comparison.  Check online, or go and see one.  They are huge.  Much the same as the Astra.  The G  is much smaller than the J.
Oh, don't worry, I have sadly. That's how I know they have all the same 'orrid handling traits of the earlier ones. And that's why I said that I reckon the newer ones are around the same size as my old 25, rather than being so much smaller (like the Mk1).

As to Astra's, I reckon the H is smaller than the G  :-\. The J is a bit bigger than the H. I've not been in a G and a J one after the other to compare those 2  :'(

Vauxhall do not know their arse from their elbow at the moment.

Honestly, and I mean HONESTLY, what car would you buy in the current line-up from Vauxhall?
Exactly. Though I would argue that's always been the case, with the exception of one or 2 little gems that I have liked. Omega being one.

Had my fill of Hondas for a while I'm afraid...  ...and not had owned one for 15yrs ;D.  That Civic I had as a hire car reminded me of why not to buy a Honda now.
