2.2CD EML on
« on: 28 November 2014, 08:04:07 »

Brother rang last night as he got home from work to say, the EML had come on and engine was missing. I did the breathers on Tuesday and the cam cover gasket, I guess I need to check the coil pack connecting first ?

Coil pack looked in good neck when I did the cam cover gasket

Got a code of P0303 misfire number 3 cylinder detected.

Took plugs out and they look very old, so new plugs going in. Let's see how that does as a new dis pack is £103 plus vat on trade club. :'(

Are the coil packs on LMF any good? Only they're rather cheap at present, by the looks of things...(I saw V6 coil packs - not sure about 4cyl, worth a look)
