It's waste... It would go to landfill or get weighed in... Doesn't your local tip leave good stuff to the side for people to take?? They do up here!!

Since they privatised  waste collection here, there are signs all round the tip stating that anything deposited there immediately becomes company property. If any of the staff see you picking anything up, sirens flash, armed police swoop in, and you end up wearing an orange jumpsuit**. The days of picking through the rubbish are long gone.

Same here at my local tip  sorry "Recycling centre" the public cannot remove anything . . .    but bear in mind that

the OP possibly works for the recycling company & may have "staff benefits"  of a freebee now & again :-\ :-\

Still a bit OTT if he has "legged it " from OOF for Al's comment though :o :o :o

"Theft by finding" is the offence if removing anything from a skip or waste tip if not given permission by the owner of the said facility. ;)

Sham someone has left though over some innocent comments :( :(

If we wanted any un eaten food from inbound flights, then we technically needed written permission from someone in authority at the airline, be it a Captain, Purser or duty manager... Technically very little left the aircraft anyways ;)

Well, If I upset the chap by pointing out that there were two bits of plastic missing off each end of the radiator cowl then I apologise, however, I read the thread in gallery as him compiling a list of minor niggles to do....
