Electrical drain problem
« on: 23 January 2015, 13:58:53 »

Hi fellow Omega lovers,

I have a massive drain measuring half an amp, tested with a multi-meter via battery. With the snow & ice & freezing conditions of late I have been unable to drive my car. At first i thought it was the Powersounder, but it has already been removed. So on further investigation I have allocated the drain to fuse 20-20A Heated rear seats, electrically operated rear window blind, central locking system. (When the fuse is removed the drain disappears)
The model I have is a CD, I do not have a rear blind or heated seats AFAIK. So the problem must be with the central locking?

1: Can I temporally remove this fuse without any adverse affects? Will I still be able to open the door with the key? At least until I get an it sorted by an auto electrician.

Any other advise or positive comments greatly appreciated.

Cheers :)
