If you can wait about another 3 weeks I will have a beautiful black 3.2 with everything and I mean everything sorted on it

Started life as a 2.6, with a 2.6 diff still, so should absolutely fly off the lights ;D

Hi Matthew,
its this car http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=124030.0
I never had omega estate so was thinking this car will be ideal for me with all irmscher gears,
when I picked this car up did not expect to be in condition like that :) car done 132K but inside look like just drive off production line :y few members saw this car and can confirm this.
will be soon in for sale section when I finish with it

1) why would it be less "nice" than a 2.6 on the motorway at 3500rpm?

2) for the stupidly low price I was going to offer it to Paul at, I doubt he would care

My 2.6 pulls about 26 MPH for each 1000 rpm in top gear.

So 3500 rpm equates to roughly 91 mph. :)

It might have been a slight exaggeration, but principle stands, it will do your head in on the motorway as the gear ratios are also different iirc...

Yes with the correct gearbox/engine and suspension set up :y

For its size, a well set up Omega is quite an agile car...
