Not just a HU swap . . . . Telematics gubins to go in the glove box area & screen to be paired to new HU

Taxi Al will give you the full details when he reads your post  :y

Pretty much as Al says :y

Old 2013 and screen out.

New 2015, screen and telematics box (plus suitable glovebox) in, might need a different aerial/loom depending what is actually fitted to the car :-\

The HU, screen and telematics are all paired to each other so can't be swapped willy nilly... not only will they not work, they might never work again if you try :y

You can in theory add a Telematics Unit (the glove box thing) to a 2013 HU, it will act as a 2015  but with 2013 buttons, the 2015 *,#, Red and Green headset buttons will work on the 2013 TP, Sat Home buttons etc. Downside is you need to source a Unpaired working Telematics, Cables, have the Code for the HU, know someone with a Tech 2 who knows what there doing.

So probably easier, just to source a working 2015 / Telematics Set Up and retrofit as the Two Al's have said (what is this a double act?, so goodnight from me and goodnight from him  ;))

You'll need to make up a loom between the telematics and the head unit as 99% it wont be in situ.

Its got to be easier and cheaper.

Looking on auction sites seems like I could get one quite cheap but noticed that most even wireless still have a CIG lighter socket wired
Didn't want wires showing really so would the wiring/plug be there somewhere behind the fasie/glovebox

What? All you can see of mine is the rotary controller and that is mostly obscured by the steering wheel when driving.

If you like I will try and take a picky and post on here.

One of these will do you "Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth" although mines an earlier model (but free).

Mine is up under the glovebox (above the trim panel) and wired in directly to power, radio mute and phone speaker in from the original telematics/phone wiring into the NCDC213. Works a charm.

I will take one tomorrow, though as mentioned there is not much to see as the main "gubbins" is up under the glovebox.

Not much to see really.

I now have it on push to answer but depending on phone it will self answer and read out callers and texts if wanted.

I just wanted a "hands free phone" with a little clutter on view as possible.

I stuck a Parrot kit in the wife's car which is all singing all dancing but I did not want a screen stuck up in the facia on mine!

Do the TMC feature do anything on these Ncdc systems I have TMC displayed in the corner where gps symbol is but never had any info come up on the CID  have had it on classic fm to see if it do as it seems like that is the only station the support it.

I always have mine on DAB so have never even tried to use it.

As far as I am aware it doesn't work over here.
