Omega "Black" headlamps
« on: 23 November 2006, 15:15:35 »

I found some on fleabay for 170 all in.
Does this sound OK, has anyone else tried them?
Very Very Tempted by these, but understandably don't want to get ripped off.

Also nearly finished my Engine mods, so I'll get a pic up ASAP.
Anyone know where I can get a replacement Header tank... In Alloy rather than that horrible sick brown colour the original is.
I used to have one for my Westfield.

Cheers

can you post the ebay link?

This has been mentioned before, AFAIK they are illegal in this country. Someone posted about them before been sold on ebay.co.uk but coming from Canada.

I believe the reflective bit inside the lens cannot be black under UK law, although someone may correct me...

The reflective bit isn't black, the surrounding part is.....hence legal.....as long as they are not europeon.

Wasn't it a guy called Riso from here and the other site that bought a set only to find they were for left hand drive cars.

May have been the silver projector type but from the same people.
