Just been clearing out the caravan of parts , found 3 big boxes of omega parts  Some bran new .. light lenses front and back , gaskets ect wiper blades , coils packs  nearly enough to build a miggy

Didn't know lens's where available separately? How do they come off? Mine are starting to look cloudy..

Ah slight mis wording  I meant light units . Lenses come off with heat from hair-dryer apparently

Yep in the past removed mine with a hair dryer....some say put them in the oven to get warm then cut the sealer to get them apart.

There's no need to remove the lamp from the car to fix that, let alone take them apart.

Needs to cut the lacquer back on the lenses with 2000 wet n dry paper, used very wet....

The use some cutting compund to bring the polish back, then use some polish to bring the shine into the lense....

Unless, like mine. the lenses need replaceing no matter how much I polish them, they should come back to clear....

Just some elbow grease with fine wet and dry paper and then rubbing compound.

Some masking tape on the edge of the wing and along the bumper is a good idea.

This is misleading... the lenses aren't lacquered. The yellow, cloudy coating is actually surface degradation caused by UV light reacting with the plastic

How long it has been left directly affects how effective the sanding/polishing treatment is, and also how often it can be repeated... the thicker the degradation, the fewer times it can be removed...
