I'm about to register with Autobahnstormers, does that guarantee I get a Trade Card or is not that simple.

Almost that simple.

Autobahnstormers has club membership of Trade Club. You will get an Autobahnstormers (ABS) membership card.

Display that card at a participating dealer to get TC prices.

I've just joined and the TC came with the membership card and club magazine,window sticker etc

if I recall right a tc card last for 2years  though mine ran out I still ask for trade & never been refused.  I also still get the trade catalogue plus a cd with the part numbers etc.
