Best free E bay snipe tool ?
« on: 11 April 2015, 16:55:34 »

As title says , after getting a friend in UK to purchase something on E bay after the seller wouldn't entertain overseas bids I really need to start using a snipe tool .I've looked on line but wondered if any of you have any recommendations .
Cheers

Isn't that why ebay is becoming such a shit to use :-\

What's wrong with asking people to price up the shipping and revise the total? Sure, you get the odd idiot, but at the end of the day, if you didn't genuinely want something, you wouldn't be asking... ::)

I've been outbid too many times now at the last nanosecond for sums of 50p to £1 on items from £3 to £2500 to worry about whether it's devalueing the "fun " in Ebay .
As you say ,I'm in it to win so if the opposition is using snipe tools then so must I .
So , if not a free tool then any good purchase ones ?

I'm not sure I should tell you this, in case you beat me to something I want, but AuctionStealer is free for 3 auctions per week!
You have the option to subscribe and get unlimited goes....

auctionstealer here too,

if you bid early there is a chance of the price going up,
bidding late hopefully wont give them chance,

ok you can  bid your maximum at the start but......

the same amount at the end will often cost you less.

I forgot to mention a side benefit of AuctionStealer; if you see the price running away from you or change your mind, you simply cancel your bid on Stealer - that also resets your freebie count back one!

Easy son , I only asked a simple question regarding usage of an auction site . You're clearly an intellectual thinker , but a wee tip , stop carrying the world on your shoulders and maybe introduce that dimension of debate when I post a question on what we should be seeking from Jesus when he pops in to see us for the third time .  ;)

To Ron and others , I thank you for that info ,I'll give it a try .  :y

I often use goofbid.com .... its free to use the snipping tool.
I set the 'time to bid' at 5 secs....seems to work ok......however you are giving a 3rd party site your ebay login and password....but I haven't had any problems, so far  :y
