Are you interested in this one joff? I was thinking of going to see it today but its 70 miles away. Is there anyone local that can view it?

I just spoke to the owner. He said the cambelt was done in 2013, no rust, 3 or 4 previous owners (one of them a chav as someone already mentioned) and everything works. He said cam cover gaskets aren't leaking either. He said he would have asked for £2,000 if it had the original wheels and radio.

I travelled 450+ miles round trip in the past to buy a two grand car and have no problem doing that again. The owner isn't available until Tuesday which is the problem. By next weekend it's gone.

I've found  the further you travel to view a car, sods law dictates the bigger the bag of shit it usually is. :-\

In my youth a couple of trips to the barren wilderness beyond Hadrians wall resulted in 'tears before bedtime'..... :-\

Train fare and the cost of petrol needs to be figured in to the cost/time equation.

You may get lucky though. :y

Also factor in the cost of a set of wheels and radio and grill (depending on preference), it adds up £2,000

All of which I have here :o. I have sent the owner a message on the bay and have asked to view it on Wednesday. Not that I am going to bid or buy (I have two black Omega's) I just wanted to check it over as he is only 38 miles from me. :y
