My need clutch doing, but hoping just got warm from enthusiastic pull away from lights with a Ferrari   ;). ( he won  >:( )

Are they easy to change on a 2.5 V6 manual and something I could trust a garage with.

How much typically would be going rate to change it ?

Cheers in advance.

Andy.

Book time is about four hours, takes me nearer 8 on the drive, longer if it's winter ::)

Straightforward enough, only 23 bolts and three clips, but eight of those bolts connect the manifolds to the test of the exhaust,  so that's a question of luck, and how you feel able to deal with any issues if they crop up :-\

Good opportunity to replace the crank seal whilst you're in there :y

:y :y.  Not sure how much of an involved job it is, but Daz has always sorted me in past so will certainly give him a bell if I need clutch.  Fingers crossed I don't  :o

Car drove fine today and no smell or felt different  :y

Hopefully all is well  :y

Mental note - Leave Ferrari's alone at the lights next time  :D
