In a Vectra, those 2.8T go pretty bloody well in a straight line, though chronic fuel economy if you rag it a lot.

I'm told that Bluefin will help the economy by about 10% as well as bolstering the performance with an extra 50 BHP and 80 FT LB of torque in the midrange.
And you forgot that it helps you to pull your foreskin up over you head to keep your ears warm

Well, hopefully the economy won't get any worse with a remap. :y

.....and the performance will improve.

My mate had one of these, if I remember it's got a very unique turbo on them that was quite revolutionary at the time :y

Was it driving on twisty Welsh roads that made you want this car?

I don't think the Signum is a drivers car like the Omega. The Omega was pitched against the 5 series BMW and Mercedes E class. Badge snobbery was always against it though. :-\

No. Just time for a newer car purely as a means of transport without spending a fortune*

So are you laying up the Omega or the Corsa? or maintaining all 3 on the road?  ::)

This option seems the most likely.

Insurance for the Signum comes in £30 higher than the Omega at £160.
