Cruise Control Stopped Working!!!
« on: 30 September 2015, 17:04:45 »

Hi,

The Cruise Control is suddenly stopped working in my Omega B 2.0 L model 1996 (manual transmission)...
The last maintenance i did to my car was replacing the clutch disk, is there any deal with this?
If anybody can tell me how to inspect this system manually and what should I have to start to check?

Thanx for help...

There is a clutch pedal sensor, this would have to be plugged in, but I'd doubt that would have been disturbed?

Autos have a brake switch, manuals have both a clutch and a brake switch :y

It could be the switch got disturbed maybe...?

To reset it, depress the clutch pedal, locate the clutch switch plunger, the plunger will need to be pulled out as far as it can, release the clutch pedal and it will then be reset/recalibrated for your clutch pedal...

It could also be that it isn't engaging and its the motor that has been disturbed...

You could maybe find someone with a "My Naff Code Reader" that can reset it for you...

IIRC there is a away to reset it with the buttons on the stalk but I forget how it is done...
