vauxhall omega 2.6 oil in water

HI all i really really need help with my vauxhall omega 2.6 v6 auto its an 02 plate. i have oil in my water and i have no head gasket symptoms so was told to check oil cooler. have removed oil cooler and have no cracks or wholes but there is lots of oil in the water and not sure what to do now and would like to now if there is any thing else to check thanks PLEASE PLEASE help. thanks again

You wont see any cracks as such because its under hot pressure, so the oil cooler will look normal to the naked eye, they normally go up the top of the oil cooler the first one or two radiator fins, sometimes it can leave a very slight rust effect along where the leak could be.

Either way, its replacement oil cooler time, and look forward to a lot of system flushing.

And then when you think you've flushed it clean, give it a couple of days of use, then flush and............... ;D

If buying from Courtenay, make you deduct the Inlet Manifold Seal Kit, which you don't need, re use the old ones.

Interestingly the Courtenay Coolers ones are Stainless Steel (as supposedly fitted to the late 2.6 and 3.2 models), all the failed coolers Ive come across were 2.6 and 3.2's, yet to see one on the 2.5 / 3.0's  :-\

Is there any thing else to check that might be the cores of the problem
  before buying new oil cooler thanks for the links and replies guys

99.99999% it will be the cooler, assuming no water (mayo) in the oil.

I am just worried because I put 70 psi in to the oil cooler and it didn't seen to leak at all.
and I have no water in oil just lots of oil in the water

All coolers are stainless, except very early ones 1994/5.  Stainless ones still fail if you don't service the coolant
