yes I have heard of preventive maintenance. It's just that the more bits I fix the quicker it seems to find other bits to break >:( Sadly the Omega is a pile of crap that I'm saddled with until about the middle of next year-unless something really expensive lets go.

in my opinion Valhalls are allays expensive to maintaine and easy to break. for some reason.
i spended loads in my omega and other vauxhals before.
regular maintaining, oilchanges, etc and still there came the time something major broke.

other cars i had before at least being thanksfull for a long time giving them some replacements parts.

also every car and we talking big cars as i would'nt go for something 1.6 or small in size, always gave me the money back to an extend i paid for it out.

the vauxhalls always seemed to be a loosing thing.

i do like the frontera but after all my experience on vauxhal i don't go for it now.

same as i would'nt go for mercedes and bmw as i have the same experience.

I have owned, viva, chevette, manta,Carlton, senator, omega, all have done as asked, just usually wear n tear, unless abused (cracked shell, manta) just normal maintenance, and preventative, when notice a problem. ;)
Obviously some GM products don't like certain people, unless its just a Monday am car or Friday pm car ;D
