Car insurance question

Can any give some advice please both myself and swmbo have cars with our own insurance for them we are both named drivers on each other's insurance which is Ok
We have the chance of another car an old corsa which would be her runabout how would that be insured would it be with 0 no claims as she already has insurance on the first car ?

Some insurance companies will mirror the NCD on another car, some will not. You can only ask.

Really depends on the Insurance Co, as said some will mirror one of your existing polies, downside on this is claim on one will effect both. If its just a cheapo run around might be worth getting quotes as low annual millage type of thing.

Unfortunately you will have to speak to the one get mirrored no claims.

Ring around.  IME, initially, they will offer something like 3yrs NCD. Keep trying, they will normally give you max NCD
