Am stripping estate for spares, already have a spare saloon prop shaft. Will lit fit an estate?

I think the only difference is between Auto and Manual, auto propshafts are shorter and this is taken into account in the front half of the prop IIRC, the rear half being the same.

Props are the same for body styles, as said, its the gearbox that defines what it will fit.

So across the range, all automatic props will fit all auto cars, and manual props will fit all manuals.

Thank you, good news. And I realise the 1998 2.0 estate exhaust will not fit any of my other cars, so that can stay on too. I have removed the gear lever, gearboxes never fail, do they? I have removed rear doors, lights, new radiator, good tyres and petrol. ABS is 3 channel, so that can stay on too. Perhaps steering idler is worth keeping, possibly driver's door motor, then, after 10 years ownership, it can go.

The rear hubs and wheel bearings are different, which means the semi-trailing arms are as well.

Got a bit carried away. Took off the steering idler and the driver's door motor, then carried on and removed both the bumpers and the tailgate. Not quite sure where I shall store them, or how likely they will come in useful, but I do like the PFL bumpers. Like the door mirrors (am keeping them too) they are not in trim colour, they are in black, and black all the way like a stick of rock, so dints do not show. through, And they will go on any car - well any PFL Omega.

Cost of steel has crashed. I used to get £120 for an Omega as scrap, 10 years ago. I got £100 last year, £50 in July, and am only getting £30 for this one.
