Another question

This is for "just in case"Roughly how long would it take for someone skilled in such things to change the oil cooler?I'm trying to gauge costs and already have a fair idea for cam belt change which is definitely needed, but if I'm going to that expense then for peace of mind I'd probably want oil cooler done at same time.

That's actually very misleading... :o

The sealant needs to be left to cure for 24 hours before refilling the cooling system.

The curing time costs nothing .. and the OP was trying to work out "costs" ..... so 3 hours labour is a reasonable estimate  IMHO  :)

Nevertheless it needs factoring... it isn't an afternoons work then drive the car that evening ;)

Thanks for the info.Appreciate HKT's heads up about curing time but that doesn't present any problems if I have it done.
