Bonnet
« on: 27 December 2015, 13:46:11 »

Whilst I'm going to be dropping coolant to change switches/sensors/senders I thought I'd ask about the bonnet too!Ever since I've had the car the bonnet release has felt quite stiff and when pulled the bonnet itself doesn't "pop" I have to get my finger tips between bonnet and top of headlamps and give it a quick lift before I can get to release catch to open it fully. So what do I need to adjust or lubricate? and if just lubricate what's best to use?

The big nut between bonnet catch spring and bonnet will adjust position of bonnet pin. If that's what needs adjusted. Then a coating of grease in the hole
