Thanks for all the PMs and posts :)

I think I have a workaround available (I was going to get the "new" wheels refurbed then new tyres on, and couldn't be without the car, hence not refurbing current wheels), so I *may* not need any now.  Like all such plans, it may fall apart, in which case I'll be contacting those that have either posted here or PMd me.
