2.6/3.2 manifolds on a 2.5 - flange modification...?
« on: 10 February 2016, 20:44:56 »

Hello folks, I got me a pair of 2.6/3.2 manifolds as a replacement for my 2.5 manifolds. I believe there is a modification needed to the 2.6 manifolds before I can use them...

Can anyone tell me what it is please, I'll be fitting these at the weekend, hopefully if the weather is OK...

Leave the manifolds alone.

You need to trim the end of your downpipe where it enters the manifold.

It uses two manifold to downpipe gaskets: check how thick they are, then reduce the length of pipe that protrudes from the downpipe flange.

I marked mine with a permanent marker and operated with a  precision 4.5" angle grinder. Yes, Dewalt make precision engineering tools ;D
