Sadly they'd probably do you for operating a CCTV system without the required warning signs, etc. and let the crims off with a caution. >:(

There should be no problem as long asthe video is only recording your own property, if you go outside that boundary then they may take a different view.  :-/

i think i prefer the first one!

i like the idea i've seen before where it's not always constant recording, but has a save function where it saves the last 10 seconds of footage at the press of a button, so if you just missed an incident and hit the button, it captures it
