You have put your finger on it! Nowt wrong with it just weird! We had cavaliers previously (dads a V6 and mine a 1.8) and absolutely loved them, just dont know whats up with the vectra. Maybe its the front wheel drive? :-?

Other than  the Mig, 1989 Rover 827Si in Zircon Silver, 1996 Rover 416 In Kingfisher Blue.

Weird aint it!! I hate it! just feels like someone elses! I had a cav too... they are front drive too.

Go for it! I'm intrigued thought it was just me being faddy! When we had the cavs i'd never driven rear wheel drive so that may have something to do with it, didnt know any different!!

Yes they are. I've allways wanted one & this came for the right price. SD1's have risen in price over the last few years & that's my plan for the Coupe. Not to mak e a profit, just to have something unusual that will increase in value. (i hope)  :-/

I don't hate Veccies but they leave me cold, no input, nothing. Can't explain it. Loved Cavaliers though, cracking motors.
   Makes no sense i know. :-?

I've recently bought a 2.6 miggy. And I still own a 1973 Triumph Toledo. This was the first car I ever owned and I'm now presently nursing it back to health. :y

there in my sig but a brief description is,

Range rover, has been converted to lpg, has 60mm wider track, and Koni adjustable shocks all round, a tuned exhaust thats been de-catted and a K+N to enhance the breathing for around 265-270hp, maybe more!, uprated brakes as well with drilled and slotted discs and EBC6000 greenstuff pads.
it certailnly shocks people when it acelerates past them at speed, lol!
(need to find a 4x4 rolling road!)

a 1988 toyota supra 3,0i turbo thats been rather heavily modded! im still doing lots and it has been on axle stands now for 2 months but must be ready for the mkiiisupra owners group club stand at JAE at end august lol! its currently running around 345hp

Rover 216 cabriolet with honda twin cam (D16A8) but also a little special under bonnet and a few bolt on toys too to help performance!
power hood and usual electrics, its a cool little car soon to be lowered as i have a set of lowering springs to fit next week! its sooooo high!

The only weak point is the bearing cage on the gear box which wears making it whine. The T series engine is reasonbly robust so it should last you a fair few years.  :y

Rover 3500S P6 (Work In Progress Engine now workingish)
Rover 400 SWTSMBO's but i bought it! ssshhhhhh
Vectra SRi 2.0 (In bits Soon to be weighed in)
Vectra SRi 2.5 (Broken Oil Cooler Not used much)
Calibra V6 (Non Worker Snapped belt soon getting veccys engine)
Vivaro CDTi Works van

vectra b's handling is fairly good i thought never lost control of myn the v6s dont like hill climbing though dinmore hill in the v6 veccy 3rd gear flat out got to leominster and the lifter had been clicking all the way since i booted it up the hill! changed oil and it shut up!

Nearly bought a 820 turbo but it scared me! dropped it down a gear and it miss fired on boost so i walked away! lots and lots of tourqe though but i dont like 4 pot power delivery cant beat a silky smooth v6
! unless its a V12!
