Self levelling suspension pump
« on: 04 April 2016, 15:17:25 »

Can anyone advise if the self-levelling suspension pump from a 2000 3.0 Elite is the same as a FL 2001 3.2 Elite ??

James might have a 3.0 one available to me if it's the same

Ta in advance

All identical.

Took the original pump off my 1998 Elite and fitted it to my 2003 Elite, until rear shocks gave up so resorted to std non SL setup.

Only thing I did find was the black rubber vent pipe had albut perished so you might need a new bit of rubber tube but fuel pipe worked fine as its only a vent to atmosphere.

All post 1998 ones are the same BUT may be calibrated differently.

Pre 98 ones are different.

Thanks for the info ... given those facts .. in your opinion would I be better trying to get a FL / 3.2/ 2001 pump rather than the 3.0 one James might have ??

I took a compressor off a late PFL estate many years ago, and subsequently fitted it to a 2001 3.2 Elite saloon, and it work perfectly. No difference in the connections or mounting points.

Your call. As long as its post 1998 (ie, from a MFL or FL).

Ta .. If the one from James is still available I'll probably go with that then .. 2000 3.0 so must be MFL  :)
