As per the title really,have the new omega elite est but i think the last person had dogs so its a bit whiffy and the wife said its got to be clean so the seats and carpet will have to come out and be washed.Its a cloth interior and electric everything so can i use a bucket of soapy water or something else?Also how to get the carpet out or wash it in the car but harder to dry i suppose,any ideas?

When i bought my miggy it reeked of dogs and ciggys.....i was in the position that i had another car to use while i sorted the new one out...I bought 6 bottles of white vinegar and filled 4 bowls up and then left them in the car for the week with windows closed,,after that i emptied the vinegar onto the weeds in the garden which it killed all of them...yep the car smelt of vinegar but after shampooing the seats and carpets all the smells had completely gone.....this is the second time i have used white vinegar and left it in a car and it does kill the smells..

Why not just give the local foreign friendly car-wash place £30 and get them to do the job?

They have the chemicals, they have the experience.  There is no leather, so they can't exactly mess-up.

Well i got it done on Sunday using a vax carpet machine i had in the attic which had a flexible hose and tool,i'd never used it and completely forgot i had it but thanks to the replies i went looking.Now just need some sun to dry it all up and put the front seats back in and hopefully it will smell nice for the wife!!

It's unlikely to dry properly unless the carpets were removed from the car... Front underlay makes Huggies look like sieves...
