Has anyone fitted a new rear suspension arm before? Is it a difficult job? How long does it take? Is it a mechanic only job or could a novice do it?

Helfrauds said my miggy needs this doing for the MOT.

Technically it's only a few bolts... but be the first time one of those has failed an MoT

Did they charge you for this piece of enlightenment

Sure it's he rear arm and not front arm, rear bush? As per HKT, never known one fail for rear arm

Take it back and tell him to point to the arm that needs changing.
Take a picky and stick it on here

sure, it's a mechanic job, don't try this at home    take it back

It's easy enough to remove, just like a front track rod. Easy to replace too. But then you will have to adjust it.You may get away with setting it the same length as the old one, but never works for me on front track rods. Otherwise it's off for a full geometry set up.
