That's the pads done, all went well bar the bleed nipple on the nearside had already been snapped off by some heavy handed thug. So I had to do the one thing I don't like to do and push the pistons with the nipple closed. Went at it very gently and slowly one piston at atime pumping the pedal in between. All good I have brakes. Note to self nsr caliper require when next working on brakes.

carrreful with the fuel filter. The little clips are prone to breaking. Ideally you' d practice on another spare one, cock it up, learn by your mistakes, then do it for real on your own car. You need to squeeze the tabs inward, wih pliers/similar, then pull the male fitting out of the female.

Even when you do it by the book, it often doesnt come. Patience is key, unless you have a spare one kicking around, to fit if it all goes Pete Tong. Easy once you've done it.

Filter all done and no broken clips,  :y . Rear wiper motor has just arrived so could be a job this afternoon if the snow shower stop.

Jobs for the weekend ?

Bite the bullet and collect my bowel cancer screening samples that involve collecting smears of poo, scraping them onto a special card every day for three days, and sending them off somewhere  :o  Great !

MoonPig have really gone down hill since I last used them!  ;D

In all seriousness, good luck chap!

My bank holiday will be spent mostly building a bathroom.
