Cracking car, and we'll looked after. Same colour as mine. Can I ask what cleaning products you use?
Hi and thanks for the nice comments. I think
Velvet Green springs to mind (its quite a dark green, slight metallic fleck) but somebody has mentioned Jungle Green ?
I always use the Autoglym products. I have tried a few of the other waxes, but the Autogym stuff is easy to use, and very forgiving if you accidentally get a bit on the plastic trim. The order of the process, if I have a few hours is:
- Pre wet and then wash with Autoglym Pressure Washer additive (lance on gentle ! and foam)
- Wash with a soft wash Mitt , NEVER USE A SPONGE
(You may as well use a Pan Scourer !!!) - 2nd Wash with Bucket warm water and 2nd mitt with Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner. The green stuff. Smells great !

- Rinse and Chamois dry
- Ideally leave for 24hrs to fully dry
- Autoglym Super Resin Polish - Wax on, in cool shade. Can normally apply to all panels, before then leaving for 30 mins before polishing back off - use plenty of soft mits, saving one for final polish
- Then Autoglym Extra Gloss Protection. This is more of a liquid (bit like RainX) but again same process as above as with Polish
- Wheels I often, when cleaned, apply the super resin polish as well
- Tyres - Apply the Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing - Ideally leaving overnight - Again this smells nice
- Black Plastic Trims - Only for MFL !!
- I use a Silicon Based Tyre Dressing - Occasionally used on Tyres, but prefer the Autoglym Instant Tyre Dressing as easier
Then sit back and enjoy, putting away in Garage before it rains !
