Eicher Premium range on the lads corsa

The front discs and pads on the lads 54 plate corsa need replacing right now  :(

Just seen these on the euro parts website

They're deemed to be a bit of a shite brand but I've put them on wifeys corsa with no issue. Plus they're cheap as chips.

Can't go wrong at 42 sheckles for 2 front discs and a front pad set  :y

Shop around, I got a set of Mintex discs and pads (which are considerably larger than Corsa ones) for the Zaf for 60 notes delivered

Really good seller and been using him a lot recently  :y

And the Mintex stuff at the moment appears to be very good quality, yes its 8 quid more but without the risk!

Mini Me ordered and paid for them off his own back last night using the promo code off here.
I didn't know until I got a text off him this morning asking me to dig out the tools for when he gets home from work  ::)
Apparently, HE is going to supervise ME doing the job  ;D ;D ;D

Good to see Mintex seem to have sorted out the quality control though, I stopped using them a few years ago after a front pad split under hard braking on a mates car while I was playing  :-X

Just fitted TRW discs and pads all round on the 190. Very very impressed with the feel so far. And the discs are painted a sexy black  :y

Well the dirty deed was done last night.
Left the lad to put the wheels back on and drop it off the jack / stands while I went and washed my hands ready for the test drive.

Jumped in and off I went at a increasingly rapid pace so as to get a feel for them and listen for any knocks and rattles  :-\
After a couple of miles down the road, I chucked it around a roundabout and started to make my way home.
Then the knocking starts ..............
Touch the brake, it knocks
Hit the brake, it clunks and this time I feel it through the steering wheel ...........
Carefully pull over (in front of a lycraist who spat his dummy out because I stopped in HIS cycle lane (self-abuser sign) made by my good self  :-X  ;)
Gave the front wheels a kick to find both are friggin loose  :o >:( >:(

After 5 minutes to calm down, I slowly rang Mini Me and politely asked him if he had tightened the bolts up as I had shown him break knows how many times over the past few years ::)
Well apparently, he has never been shown before  :-X :-X :-X

On advise of my good self, I requested that he made the journey to me complete with strong arm and 17mm impact socket and TIGHTEN THE oppsING BOLTS UP which he did without complaint for a change  ::)

He hasn't spoke to me since ................ ;)
