How to spot a hooky Tech 2?
« on: 08 July 2016, 13:16:25 »

I am considering investing in a Tech 2 as I have two Omegas and there is a 2007 Astra in the family.

They seem to be coming down in price and I am wondering if there is an easy way to spot a geniune Tech 2 over a nobbly copy from China?

What accessories and cables are needed to?

Cheers all.

To cover the Astra, you'll need a CANdi.

You will also need a valid TIS subscription if you want to be able to use it to its capacity.

Give this site a look:
http://www.easydiagnostics.co.uk/home/4590186318

I know a few people who have bought Diagbox/Lexia (the Citroen equivalent) copies from them.
It's still copies but from a more serious place than eBay and they can give support if something ain't right.
I have seen Tech 2's listed on their site before.
