Can a properly depaired CID screen then be paired to a NCDC 2013 which has been paired to  (and then depaired from)a GID ?

If it is depaired and in delivery mode then yes. The process basically involves depairing everything and starting again from scratch so the security code is needed for the car it is going into :y

Good stuff. Just got to find one that's guaranteed to have been put into delivery mode, then someone localish with Tech 2 who knows what they are doing. What could possibly go wrong.  :D

Or if I'm feeling really foolhardy I could do it all with my naff code reader.  :o ;D ;D

Not quite true, you can pair an unpaired screen to a paired headunit if you know the code.

The code for the unpaired screen, the headunit or both ?
How would I  find the code ?
