New clutch in the 2.2 would be cheaper... ::)

True, but only if I actually knew how to change a clutch.  ;)

Sadly one of the Omega's has to get priority, as one of them will have to go at some point. I will need to consider a family bus in the next year or two, the reality is the 3.2 is in better shape and ticks more of my commuter boxes such as Auto/working aircon etc.

My 3.2 does 270 miles of commuting mileage (urban and A road mixed) reliably on an 80 litre tank and over 300 on a  motorway run. I'll be amazed if you don't get 270 to a tank on a 50 MPH plod up the M3 with a bit of urban traffic either end.

Thanks Kev, I'd be happy at those figures  :y

My tank is only 74L. And I hit a lot of roundabouts to go anywhere... 7 in the first 20 miles of any long journey ;)

And, as I said, I don't exactly plod about :-X
