Hi guys,

Progressing with my bad rev counter issues.

Now it does not work from cold for about 20 mins and then starts to jump around.

Could a bad rev counter in the dashboard be the cause and could this cause the Auto transmission check light to come on that is happening to the car?

I have taken the dashboard/dials section out etc with the guide, then put it back, no change. So i can replace if that is the issue.

What do you think?

Thanks

Alex

Doubt it.

But you could drive around without a dash for an hour, see if gearbox goes into limp.  Obviously, you'd have to reset the airbag light afterwards though.
