That cant be right

There should only be for one cluster a tail, tail/ brake, fog, reverse and indicator

That post says there are 2 brake and 2 tail

From memory, PFL saloons have two tail light bulbs per side, a 380 5/21W and a 207 5W while FL cars have only one, a 380 5/21W.

Yep - My MFL a few years ago chirped up on the Central Display 'Tail Light'.  I looked at the back and thought it was pulling my leg as looked fine  ::)  ON closer inspection, and bulb removal yes one of the pair of tail lights in the outer cluster had gone  :D

My first (and only so far  :D) bulb failure with the old girl in the 16 years I have had her  :y

Estates have 21/4 Fog/Tail :y

These have double offset pins, 21/5 won't (shouldn't) physically fit...

Yes ..... I knew what you were getting at, but the easiest answer when on a phone.  ::)
I can never quite get my head around how people force either the correct bulb in the wrong way around or even forcing the wrong bulb in. Someone on the Smart form had problems with his/her tail lights & he/she'd forced a single filament bulb in, instead of a twin stop/tail lamp  ??? ???
