Strongflex Bushes
« on: 30 October 2016, 10:02:53 »

Has anyone tried the Strongflex Bushes?

www.strongflex.eu/en/1161-omega-b-fl-99-03

They are a lot cheaper than the Powerflex and have the same 80ShA hardness.

Any thoughts on them would be appropriated.

Thanks

Not enough detail in the pictures, but I would politely suggest they have done no different...

That rear bush, as a single pressed in piece will flex the wishbone even more... at least mine was layered to allow some slippage, not that that was enough to prevent fatigue failure...

But, too soft and you get no control... there must be a reason why Powerflex didn't produce it :-\

Been having a read on the BMW forums and the Strongflex has good reviews. I'm 50/50 at the moment, to try or not to try.   :-\

If I did fit them I wouldn't know the difference in handling between the Powerflex and the Strongflex anyway. I've never used the Powerflex before. I've never used any polys before.

That would be interesting Al. Especially with past experience you've had with rear polys.
