As a Newbie myself, I can sympathise with the sentiments that the restrictions are there at all and how they could seem unfair...

That said, when I signed up, the rules are pretty clear, and you have to effectively sign a declaration that you have read and understood these when registering an account.

To my mind, this is reasonable, as is the limit... From what has been said previously, the principle is sound, and if someone doesn't agree to be bound by it, then surely, they don't have to register?

Careful now .... showing common sense, logic and an understanding of the rules is a rare trait on OOF ... are you an incognito admin ....?  :) :)

I promise to you, if you PM me your name and address (it can be a fake name and maybe a work address or whatever), I will make sure there is not just one, but a whole packet of chocolate digestives.  :y

Now, you can see I am a long standing member (even with a small Post-Count), but I am completely trustworthy.  Several members have met me, lots have my address.  That the way this shizzle works.

15 Months in Omega Ownership and not needed any help?  Jesus - You must be good!  :D :D

Seriously though - There are genuine, and VERY obvious reasons why selling a car on this forum is only available to the more active members (lets be fair, 250 posts is not a large amount).

Don't feel disheartened..... Stick it up on eBay, we see all those too!  :y

I'm curious to why 250 posts makes you a safe seller? and for those of us who prefer to read rather than post a comment on everything 250 posts is a lot.

Thanks

Very true.

Maybe a few thumbs up  :y on a few post or I could..............

See, another indecisive Newbie Member, obviously not trustworthy, so send me the chocolate biscuits instead.  :)

The thread itself or the principle of the one word post?
