Update on GNU
« on: 31 July 2008, 23:09:41 »

Well -- new lump grafted in well --- running really sweetly ( apart from a minor glitch). Sounds really good  :)

Got most of the donor LPG system in ---- waiting on a new temp sensor for the vapouriser ( wires came adrift from old one!). Once I get that, finish of the install and cross fingers.

The glitch? oh, yes .... when she starts she revs at around 2000 -- pinch the tube to the idle motor tight and she slows to 600, but hunts a little.

While waiting for that a few cosmetic jobs to do (get HNO3GOH to do  ::) ): wire in sat nav, phone and drive n play. Also going to pop a 12V outlet in the boot ( for the beer salad cooler). Got an irmy grille  and steering wheel to pop on. And she's getting tints next week 8-)

Garage clear out in March 2011 and I will have a large amount of omega parts going very cheap.
