Hi all! Yes I, Lizzie Zoom, is back.

Still got my May 2003 Omega 3.2 Elite.

Had my first "my fault" prang in it 8 days ago. Bent front bumper, bonnet, lights and front chassis cross member.

Has the expected "argument with my insurance company, Ageas, over "Beyond Economical Repair" assessment, but now winning the battle with the assistance of a great owner driver body shop business near me who specialises in restoring cars as well as repairing them. Working with him, I have now secured replacement front end parts, and I have ordered/bought some of the last new headlights from Vx Luton through my trusted and much used Vx main dealer. My "new body shop friend", who has, with me, been pursuading Ageas, who it must be said have been VERY co-operative and flexiable, to meet his repair estimate, should hopefully start rebuilding work on my beloved car this week.

I remember the maroon Omega well from the pictures on OOF and the Roger Budden auto trader listing, It was a stunning example, Hopefully you get it back on the road without too much hassle

Thanks.  Yes I have been promised an "as new finish" by the body shop guy who was in the advanced stage of rebuilding a 1987 Porsche. He has sprayed it a superb racing red.
