LPG- 6-8mm converter
« on: 24 July 2008, 21:07:46 »

I am trying to convert my 8mm fuel line to 6mm so that i can join to the tank valve and the vaporiser.
I have just been given 2 x elbows which will do this, but its no good to me as i need a straight one at both ends :(
Has anyone else had this trouble??
Do they do a straight one by chance??

I think Jeremy has bitten off more than he can chew... I've had a few minor problems with getting my stuff together! The tank I was supposed to collect last Friday (when they were shut but luckily Teilo was there to give me the front end) was supposed to have been delivered today (Jeremy said yesterday but I said today was fine) but when I called Jeremy to find out if I needed to hang about for a delivery he said it should arrive tomorrow but he'd check and call me back...... That was at about 11am..... Still waiting for a call!!  >:( >:( >:(

That said, the kit looks fantastic and there's plenty of support there if it's needed! I'd suggest you call Teilo direct if you don't get any joy. PM me if you need his number!  :y :y :y :y

Must confess... If I'd gone more than 20 miles out of my way last week I'd have had the right hump... Mind you, I wasn't too impressed when I dragged the Pikey Box down to that farm unit to find they were closed!!  >:( >:( >:( :o :o :o

Like I said... Teilo was there luckily and fitted the filler in the rear wing and put together a front end kit for me... I'm just waiting on the tank!

As it happens, I don't think I'll get much chance to fit anything for a couple of weeks anyway due to other commitments! I'm hoping to have it running by the end of the month though!  ;) ;) ;) ;)

My kit included a straight converter that screws into the vapouriser and takes an 8mm pipe with an olive.

It's a real shame things are so hard work with Jeremy at the moment, because the kit works so well once it's complete and on the car.  >:(

I'm wondering if we could find an alternative supplier. :-/

I wonder if we could deal direct with Teilo???? I think the majority of the problems come from a lack of communication!!  :-/ :-/ :-/

I had assumed he and Jeremy were parts of the same organisation. Not so?

it tok me 4 month to get a receipt out of them. i was constantly ring most weeks and their seems to be a lack of comunication between the pair of them.

i drove for 1 1/2 hrs to get my kit to find the tank wasnt there which i called in the morning to check and they said it was in so i was peved off. but the tank did arrive buy post within 4 days!

i really do think he might have bitten of a little too much!

but when i could get hold of them they couldnt be more helpful if they tried.

I completely agree with that.... Just such a pain getting hold of them and getting everything together!!
