Having read the recent post on this subject I checked my system. The compressor runs when auto pressed and stops with auto off. I am not getting cooling does this mean a regas and a check for leaks.

Won't hurt, but it might be a heater control issue...

do the revs change noticeably when you switch it on?  if not then probably re-gas needed.  I think Kwik Hit and ATS refund the charge if the regas doesn't fix it. however both those companies could and do easily cock up a regas despite the machines being almost idiot proof. F1 sorted it in the end for me.

Make sure ECO is off, the important part, is the inner part on the compressor spinning, the outer will alway, if yes then not enough gas to chill, but enough pressure to engage clutch,  get it regassed, if no change on temp in cabin, as dg said check climite panel, also is scutlle and pollen filter in good order.
