Late 90's I stored a car in a discreet and exclusive storage facility in deepest Cambs . My car was in ,and still is , an Airchamber and parked next to it in it's allocated space was Chris Rea's Ferrari 308 GT4 race car on a trailer .
Arriving one day I found a hole in the side of the Airchamber where the door of his car had been opened and pierced the plastic .
I was a bit pissed at it but strong clear industrial tape soon repaired it so .....
I wrote on a sheet of A4 "  Just one sweet and tender touch too much Chris ..." and taped to the area of the damage .
Next visit someone had written on it " Touche da'mour "......
A lovely gentle reply that said much ..probably written by a member of his team , but I smiled .

For those perhaps unaware of his music, both are his songs .
Great musician who will be missed by many . RIP .
