How long does it take to show him how to make beans on toast  ;D
Which is, incidentally, a very balanced meal  ;)
True. It gets a bit 'sameygassy' after the first three weeks, though.

Fixed that for you!

Yep, me too. Apparently, the accommodation comprises of single, en suite rooms with shared kitchen and tv room between five rooms. Fickin luxury.
When I were a teenager, I had to live in a cardboard box in the attic. Me dad used to open the hatch and throw me a piece of stale bread once a week....if I was lucky. I had to drink out of the cold water tank..and shit in it too. Don't know they're fickin born nowadays.

Had similar with my lad who has just done his first year at Uni. Phone rings "Hello Dad, just been offered a weeks working holiday in Florida, reporting on a big poker tournament. Can you find my passport for me ?"
Ring him back 5 minutes later. " Found it, and it ran out 6 months ago. No I cant sort it out for you. As your going in a weeks time you need to get yourself down that London and sort it out sharpish,. And while your there, visit the U.S. embassy and ask them for a visa.  ::)
When I saw his student digs, I thought "this would do me nicely".  ;D
Fings aint what they used to be.

Enough to know that you don't carpet the box in the attic or provide hot water :D

If he's going to university, he needs to sort it out himself. Or he's not ready for university.

I have these issues with my kids (now 24 and 21). They'll let you stress and do all the research when it's them that should be doing it, and taking the stress on.

Have both of your kids got Asperger syndrome?

Didn't see that option, Jon, but they wanted copies of the lad's birth certificate and wife's birth certificate, so......... :-\
