This is just ridiculous, but also typical;

Have to say that the US is never been a place that I have been interested in travelling too, it has never really appealled to me. My brother goes every year, but then hes never been to Asia. But there you go evryone has their own preferneces.  ;)

I went cause my Uncle works at United Airlines, and i get insane prices! I flew business class to new york, with champaign, free booze, tones of leg room all for £130 return... so thats why i explored the US.

Have to say if i had pay full wack... i doubt i will go back!

You'll like this true story...back in 1991 was working in constrcuction (roofing, my trade), at Liverpool street in London. Virgin had some promotion for their first flights to new york, five day thins it was, all these competitions, donut eating, buffalo thingy, basketball etc., etc., me and my mate went down at lunchtime, he won the buffallo thingy, and I won the donut eating comp, which got us thru to the finals on the friday; So there we are riggers boots, jeans, Dundee united top and surrounded by five other guys in suits, the finale begins...and i won 6 donuts the quickest 9filled donuts I might add) won the free return flights to new york, and my mate from dundee also won the bufallo thingy. He wnet i sold my tickets to my mate and they both went. :y :y

We go to South Florida every year to visit kids.  They're a weird bunch down there!

I feel sorry for the Injuns.  They're still suffering.
But it's not just Americans.  There are plenty of loonies here.

For example, the latest batch of Christmas related "PC" guidelines are beyond a joke.

If Americans (present company excluded Theo) could be bothered and were interested in anything outside the US, they would be shocked at what goes on here and what we have to put up with.
