Bluetooth
« on: 18 August 2008, 11:36:30 »

OK, as many of you know, I have upgraded my PC and reintalled all my software. Under the previous setup, I used Blue Soleil as my Bluetooth software and, unless I'm mistaken, it was free. I went back to the site to download a new installation and it is limited to 2Mb unless I pay EUR 19.95. Is it worth it?

What do you guys use?

Any advice gratefully accepted!  :y

You either had a free copy included with your bluetooth hardware, or a hacked copy...

No, I checked. I downloaded version 2.3 from the Blue Soleil website on 17/10/2007. It's now up to version 6.1! The download doesn't work now as it's missing a temporary file from my old HDD.

I'll probably go down the route of USB as Loo-Knee suggested as my new phone came with a USB cable.  :y (Last one didn't have USB connectivity).

PS. You're right, TB, XP Pro is better!!  ;)

Blimey, splashed out a bit there haven't you!

Pro only needed for domains and multi processors, Home will suffice otherwise

If your phone has a micros sd or memory card you can use a card reader to transfer files, but the cable is the easiest option if you have one.
