It could, easily, be argued that the US has offered more in the way of cultural influences than Lincolnshire whose only two claims to fame appear to be a sausage and being about as flat as Ed Sheeran.

Granted, they may not have invented renaissance art or opera, but they pretty much defined the 20th century across the globe...

I think it fair to say the USA also invented morbidly obese people. They are world leaders in this.

I was thinking about this earlier. America isn't old enough to have any real heritage sites. I guess you could call things like the Guggenheim and the Lincoln memorial and, maybe, Mount Rushmore cultural sites, but these places are not recognised outside of America.
The only place I can think of that the rest of the might mourn is Graceland.

If it hadn't been for that Serbian & US immigrant Nikola Tesla & his invention of the AC electrical grid system we would probably all still be like Uncle STEMO: Getting up at dawn & putting on our bear skins, picking up our clubs, bows & arrows for a days hunting & not getting home until dusk & like our OOF Uncle explaining to Mrs STEMO, what a bad days hunting it had been & it was fresh air for supper again.
