If it fails a month early and is driven without repair its an unroadworthy vehicle regardless of what ticket is left on it, even more so if the fail is a "dangerous"

I spent quite a bit of time removing political groups feeds etc off my mum's friendface account so she couldn't keep re-posting bol***ks  and vetting her emails to spam etc

Garages can still remain open as one of the key group,I imagine it will be up to the owners-whether part of a large group or as independants-as to whether they remain so or not.Obviously the situation can change as things develop.

Given the circumstances I'm granting an MOT temporary exemption so that if your MOT is due from 30th March 2020 you will automatically receive a SIX-month extension. However, you must still keep your car in a roadworthy condition and garages will remain open if you need repairs.
